“I had no idea on how hard this story would be to put out there. This happened almost 3 years ago. So it’s still relatively fresh.

He died at home with me, my mom and my sister right there with him. I watched him everyday for 5 weeks. My sister and I would switch every other night staying with my mom and dad.

I would talk with him, even when he seemed like he was really out there. He would talk to people, make gestures with his hands. I remember one day, he called for me and my son to come over. We had to make the sign of the cross. He was psychic, he knew things, had precognitive dreams and saw spirits and talked to them. So I believe that he was seeing these people, even though we could not see or hear them. I felt presences there all the time. One time, as he was telling me, I could see a woman on the other side of a river, she was dressed in black and you could clearly see that she was waiting for someone. I believe now that it could have been one of my aunts.

One time, my dad had me and my sister hold up a broom. He said to hold it there, we couldn’t move it or the water would come in and take him. I am wondering what is all of this about water. I mean the river, a beach where my uncle waited for him, and now this. Is this some kind of cleansing or something? Maybe someone can explain this to me. The morning of his death, I went to him and told him that we would be okay, that I was fine with his going on. I wanted him to go, so he didn’t have to suffer anymore. I walked away, the song that was sent to me was by George Strait, the song goes something like I’ll see you on the other side, my friend. That was something, every time that I would ask God if this is His will. The next song that would come on the radio was When I Get Where I’m Going by Brad Paisley.

I knew for a long time that he was going to be going soon, I just didn’t have a date or time. I started getting closer to my dad about 5 years before he died. I didn’t know it at the time, but I think my inner self knew and pushed me into getting to spend the time with my dad. And my son got to know his grandpa. That’s something that he will remember. My son still sees his grandpa from time to time, and he knows not to be afraid. He knows that his grandpa is checking up on him. I saw my dad, the morning of his funeral. He was standing in the door of my bedroom. I woke up just in time to see him. The message I received from him was, I was just letting you know that I’m okay and I’m checking on you. I was okay. I did most of my grieving before he even died. Someone even said that at the funeral, they saw a white mist over the congregation while we were expressing uplifting and humorous things about Dad. I know that he was there, I could feel him everywhere. I still feel him at his house, it’s not like it used to be, but he’s still there. I thank you for letting me post this story here, this is like a little bit of a release for me. He has appeared to me in dreams. I asked him aloud one day, what exactly happened for this to happen like it did. That night, he showed me his operation that he had, what went wrong. It was doctor poor judgment and there was nothing that we could do about it. I told my mom to get his medical records and I went over them. What he showed me was right. We contacted a lawyer, and he was right again, nothing could be done. He has sent messages for my mom through me. My sister doesn’t want me telling my mom the messages. She says they upset my mom too much. But she believes that I see, hear, and dream him.”

“Clairvoyance – Clair = clear; voyance = to see – Clairvoyance is a sixth sense.  It is the power to see objects and visions.  The visions can be in the past, present or future.  The sixth sense is related to the images that are always present that bring messages from other dimensions.  These images can be shape, colors, still, animated and remain only for a few seconds or last a longer time.  They can be ’seen’ with eyes open or closed.

This is the most awesome of all skills…when I ‘read’ it shows up like a movie screen..I normally tend to stare at the floor when I do readings…so don’t be freaked out.  I sometimes get confused by my time lines meanings…is this past and if so how far back?  Usually it’s clear, but on occasion you just don’t know.

Clairaudience – Clair = clear; audience = hearing – Clairaudience means ‘clear-hearing’ in French, and is used to denote the faculty of extra sensory hearing, that is the perception of sounds, voices and music not audible to normal hearing.  I like this skill as well…now not all psychic mediums have this skill….when I sit down with a client this skill usually pops up and I can hear, but it’s like driving past someone walking on the highway and they’re yelling out a sentance, you may pick up a word or two and then have to put it together to make sense.

Clairsentience – Clairsentience means ‘clear sensing’ in French, and is the faculty of super-physical sense perception.  It overlaps with other psychic abilities such as clairaudience and clairvoyance, and is the psychic perception of smell, taste, touch, emotions and physical sensations, registered either internally or externally.  Clairsentience manifests as brief smells, sounds, or sights.

This particular skill is also interesting…for instance when I can pick up addictions such as alcohol abuse I can taste the alcohol, or when I know someone has crossed themselves over by gun shot, etc…I can taste the metal.  This is one unpleasant or at least can be unpleasant ability.

Mediumship – A medium is a person who is able to sense the presence of a nonphysical entity, either through the physical senses or by way of thoughts and impressions conveyed by the entity.  From the most fundamental perspective, this nonphysical information is spiritual energy that is emanated by entities residing beyond the veil.   Mediumship, is the act and process of conveying this energy into the physical realm.

I would say I’m more psychic than medium…however, I can do this type of work and do it very well.   Granted, the spirit may not always be ‘there’ when I am trying to locate them….but I love this type of work.

Parapsychology – Para = Beyond; Psychology = The study of how our minds work beyond the everyday ways of thinking.

According to scientists we only use 10% of our brains.  I believe that people with psychic abilities use part of the other 90%.  It is also my belief that anyone can work on using a higher percentage of their brain; therefore developing their psychic abilities.

Precognition – Pre = Before; Cognition = Precognition means to know before (as in knowing before something happens).

I have noticed that some of my children pick up on such things…I bet there have been times that you too have noticed this in your children. 

Retrocognition – Retro = back; Cognition = Knowing the past

Telepathy Tele = distance; pathy = feelings from a distance, or knowing thoughts and feelings from a distance.

Psychokinesis – Psyco = mind; Kinesis = moving things with the mind

Psychometry – The ability to receive information about an object or the owner of an object, by holding the object.

Remote Viewing – The ability to gather information about a person, place, or ‘target’ that is in an area other than in the physical perception of the viewer.  Or, viewing something that is in a remote place.

What is a Medium? What is a Psychic? …and Psychic Mediums?

There are so many phrases and terms for those who access physical information from a non-physical source – many refer to Psychics, Mediums, Clairvoyants and Psychic Mediums (I’ll deal with more of these terms at a later date).  

Are Psychics, Mediums & Psychic Mediums all the same?
In essence, yes, but each individual has unique non-physical abilities and skills (as with any physical skill or ability) and the words themselves don’t do justice to the majority of truly gifted individuals. We are the same in that we obtain, or receive, information for ourselves and others through non-physical means.

Mediumship is defined, by Wikipedia.org, as:
“In spiritualism, mediumship denotes the ability of a person (the medium) to produce psychic phenomena of a mental or physical nature. It is said that a medium can communicate with the spirits of the dead and produce physical paranormal phenomena such as materializations.”

Psychic is defined, by Wikipedia.org, as:”Psychic is a term relating to or denoting mental abilities or phenomena that are apparently inexplicable by known natural laws, since they seem to transcend the confines of the brain. People who are thought to have these abilities or to be able to produce these phenomena are often called “psychics”. The term comes from the Greek word psychikos, meaning “of the soul, mental,” which is in turn derived from the Greek word psyche (soul/mind). It was first used by French astronomer Camille Flammarion (1842-1925), who was also a noted spiritualist and psychical researcher.”

Are Psychics also Mediums?
No, not necessarily. A Psychic can often gain information of a physical nature by using non-Mediumistic means i.e. they do not connect with the spirit of a loved one, or other spirit, to gain the information. Spirit Guides, Spirit Communicators and inspirers (sometime referred to as ‘personal Angels’ or ‘teacher spirits’) are the source of a Psychic Medium’s information and as such is open to less influence by the psychic forces, assuming that the Medium is genuine of course!

Are Mediums also Psychics?
No, not necessarily. Mediums, in general, tend to prefer direct communication with “spirit” and rely upon their “spirit guides”, “operators” or “communicators” to provide information which is then relayed to the physical individual.
Having been the Medium-in-charge (leader, ‘control’ and facilitator) of countless Development groups, ‘Closed’ and ‘Open’ Circles, it is my belief that Mediums utilise Psychic ability to complement their abilities as Mediums.
Many Mediums refuse to accept the ‘Psychic’ level and will insist that they are *not* utilising their Psychic ability at all. There is also a snobbery involved – many Mediums ‘look down’ upon other Clairvoyant Mediums who choose to operate using all available means i.e. their Psychic and Mediumistic abilities combined.
It is invariably other Mediums who are able to discern whether an individual is using Psychic methods of divination in addition to their Mediumship – many people sat in audiences and congregations are unaware of the difference. I have witnessed many public demonstration Mediums criticising other Mediums for ‘working on the Psychic level’ but

I am of the opinion that if the information is accurate, helpful and constructive there is no problem and all available methods of divination should be used. After all, the client deserves to hear all accurate and relevant information and, as such, this is far more desirable. The Spiritualist organisations tend not to agree and dictate that Mediums act on a non-Psychic level and, more recently, that Mediums demonstrating Clairvoyance identify their “spirit guides”, “operators” or “communicators” at the beginning (or during) any given public demonstration/s.

As a Demonstrating Medium I have arranged public “Psychic Circles” (away from Spiritualist Churches and also within them) to demonstrate purely Psychic ability (or a combination of Psychic and Clairvoyance via the ‘spirits’ of loved ones and ‘spirit’ guides’) and when demonstrating in Spiritualist Churches I have to disregard the Psychic and operate on ‘spirit’ communication only (apart from occasional references which must be stated as being Psychic).
Sounds a little strange? Of course – organised religions invariably are, in my opinion.

Are Mediums telepathic?
Most Mediums would suggest that telepathy is a Psychic ability and therefore not a specific part of Mediumship. I am not telepathic. I am Psychically sensitive to the feelings of others which many would term “telempathic”.

Do Mediums believe in God?
Yes – in the majority of cases. The concept of ‘God’ is open to many and varied interpretations, obviously, but as the source of all goodness, eternal Love, Light and Power, yes.
I have many problems with words that are used, for example the use of the word ‘Medium’ or ‘spirit’ as they don’t fully express what I mean and in the same way the word “God” does not do the Creator justice in any way whatsoever. Every fibre of my being knows that God, in the highest sense, exists and is not subject to human interpretation – our brains just aren’t capable of fully comprehending the magnificent and omnipotent force of pure love which is God.
Social, religious and cultural conditioning tend to mean that as individuals we interpret “God” in our own way, obviously, but if we choose to look to God for the ultimate answer it will be forthcoming, setting any and all words aside.
My experience of other Mediums is that nearly all express the concept of God as being **incredibly** important and the source from which we originate and ultimately return to.
It is a sad fact that in the Western world (and globally) many people are turning away from God – but they are turning away from the “God” that they have been taught via society, religion or culture.
I know God exists – I don’t need proof and I cannot fully explain, describe or define God – I don’t need to and if I did I wouldn’t have the words to do so. Again, every fibre of me KNOWS that God exists but I’m not religious and I tend to be more critical of organised religions around the world as I get older. The “spirit world” (words are such a pain sometimes!) cannot exist without God – it *IS* a facet of God’s Love and Light.

Try going to a Spiritualist Church and asking your local Mediums what they have to say about God – the majority will say something *vaguely* similar to the above.

I don’t talk often about God – but I would urge people to look more closely and ‘personally’ at God – look up and talk to God when you feel comfortable doing so… don’t wait for an immediate answer, just talk to God as you would your best friend?

I get angry when I see or hear people making God responsible for the wrongs of this world… when things go wrong in your life, don’t look ‘up’ – look ‘down’, or to your fellow man – it is God that keeps this ‘global show on the road’; it always has been and it always will be. No discussion on that one!

A couple of important notes on Psychic Ability, Mediumship and Clairvoyance that bear repeating:
I believe that it is ESSENTIAL that an individual learns to ‘close down’ before beginning to operate on a Psychic or Mediumistic level. Leaving yourself ‘open’ is a road that you do not want to travel down!

I am not particularly in favour of general Development groups or ‘Closed Circles’ for people who have not naturally received ‘other worldly’ information previously. If ‘spirits’ have communicated with you, then you are free (always) to decide whether to ‘close yourself down’ and never again entertain the idea of “spirit communication” and I believe that this is the individual’s right to choose. If ‘spirit/s’ are communicating freely and *without invitation* it is acceptable (to me) to then facilitate methods of control and communication, if desired. An ‘Open Circle’ is a good place to find help and assistance intitially. Control is the key – trust me, I’m a Medium!

If one wishes to ‘open up’ and begin communicating (Psychically or with ‘spirit guides’ and ‘spirit communicators’) I would suggest that you find a good, qualified and approved teacher – preferably a Medium who you can physically see – local Spiritualist Churches are a good place to begin. Please don’t be tempted by “online Mediums” who say they can ‘open you up’ – it’s a very dangerous practice in my opinion!

‘Control’ is **incredibly** important and ‘closing down’ is vital if good mental health is to be maintained. Leaving ourselves ‘open’ to communication twenty-four hours a day is just not healthy or acceptable (to me) but as we have freewill we are free to do so – it is entirely wrong to do this, in my opinion.
As I sit writing this text I am not receiving ‘spirit’ communication – since I got up today I have not been receiving information from ‘spirit’ or psychically – I CHOOSE when to open myself to spirit communication (unless it’s a ‘warning’ or emergency) and I believe that this is the only way to remain in a good state of health mentally.
Physical day-to-day life needs to remain TOTALLY separate from Psychic or non-physical experiences – there should, AT ALL TIMES, be a very ‘clear line’ between the two levels (planes) of existence and operation. We are physical now and we must lead physical lives in as healthy a state as possible and to the full. When, and if, we choose to work on a non-physical level we must try to do our very best – but at the end of our non-physical work we must **very firmly** ‘close down’ and then resume our physical lives with no further thought of non-physical communication.
The ‘line’ needs to be drawn in the sand, as it were, and if that line becomes hazy or distorted we leave ourselves open to many, many problems sadly and I have witnessed some Mediums who have ignored the issue of ‘control’ and experienced awful problems.

A very simple analogy comes to mind as I type this:
You turn on your computer to work and communicate with others (i.e. you press the power button to turn on the box of chips that controls whether you can read this text or not)… when you have finished your communication you press the power button again or ‘close down’ the computer to switch it off when you do not need it. If you left the computer on permanently you would be forever losing power – your hard-disk and processor could overheat or burn-out eventually and you would be unhappy to lose your e-mails and your method of communication with the outside world.
The solution in that scenario is simple – you buy another computer – but if your psyche or brain function is damaged what do you do then?

To carry that analogy one step further, if you are sane and sensible (!) you utilise all methods to keep your computer safe online – you install anti-virus software (and keep it up to date!) and install a firewall and use them wisely and you learn, and use, ‘best practices’ to keep your computer, your means of ‘online communication’ and your ‘data’ safe. If it’s good enough for a box of chips that are replaceable at your nearest computer shop, why not learn to use the same ‘best practices’ to keep your ‘self’ safe and limit communication so that everything is as safe as possible if you have made the choice to utilise non-physical communication?

‘Closing Down’
I have been very fortunate to find myself in a position where I am able to ‘close down’ other individuals who are experiencing problems and physical proximity is not important i.e.

I can travel on the inner planes to do work of a non-physical nature. It is also unimportant whether the individual knows of the procedure or not (thus setting aside any issues of suggestion or placebo) and works very well indeed where people are experiencing unwanted ‘spirit’ communication and, to a lesser level, where people are experiencing unwanted Psychic phenomena.

One of the most famous Medical Clairvoyants – or Medical Intuitives – was a Medium called Edgar Cayce who (through a process of trial and error initially) developed ‘the art’ of being able to identify medical conditions whilst in trance. Edgar Cayce (1877 to 1945) was a devout Christian and struggled to reconcile his Psychic and Mediumistic abilities with his religious beliefs.
Mr Cayce was able to work on a remote basis by entering a state of trance and concentrating on the individual – he often used a letter from the individual concerned to ‘link in’ to their energy field and provide diagnostic and remedial therapy. Given a person’s name and location, he could diagnose the physical and/or mental conditions and provide corrective remedy. He became popular and soon people from around the world sought his advice through correspondence. Followers from around the globe still follow his practices and attempt to recreate his results.

Another amazing Medical Clairvoyant – or Medical Intuitive – was a Trance Medium called George Chapman who I had the privilege to know and to work with. George worked in trance almost every day of the latter part of his life and passed in to spirit, at the age of 85, in August 2006. For almost sixty years George worked in deep trance – beginning with no (or little) breakfast and then remaining in trance – seeing patients – until 5:30pm or so each day at which time his physical body was tired and hungry. This was George’s usual pattern whilst he lived and worked near Machynlleth, Wales from the late 1980′s onwards, although George flew around the world to a number of clinics to see patients.

The spirit of Dr William Lang (a distinguished surgeon and ophthalmologist) worked ‘through’ the body of George Chapman – in a form of Channelling – and Dr Lang worked his magic (Psychic Surgery) on patients from the four corner of the globe!
I may have mislead the reader earlier – I had briefly known George Chapman (the Medium) but I had many more conversations with Dr Lang (the Spirit Doctor and teacher spirit) whilst George sat in trance.

Dr Lang informed me in 1986 that he would be working with me – in a very different manner – whilst he was not working with the Medium, George Chapman. I was amazed to find that by the late eighties I had several ‘dead’ doctors working with me and enabling me to assist in health problems – both in diagnosis and remote Psychic Healing. I am not a Spiritual Healer and I am not a Faith Healer but I do work on the astral and etheric planes (inner planes) with the subtle bodies of those who require assistance.
Since approximately 1990, I have been working (non-physically) with Dr Lang, Dr Cheung and Dr Wong – more recently (15 February 2006) I was joined by yet another ‘dead’ doctor, Dr Mohamed, and together the five of us (and many others) work almost every day/night to help to assist those with health problems and particularly during surgery. Surgery of a physical nature is, obviously, a very difficult time for the physical body – the stresses of the anaesthetic and the operation itself placing an inordinate pressure upon the physical form. The five of us (and the various ‘teams’ that work with us) are often present and I leave my body to be present with the spirit doctors so that we can affect the physical body in a very real and positive sense.

“What You Need To Know About… Psychometry
The incredible ability to sense an object’s past – through touch.

Psychometry is a psychic ability in which a person can sense or “read” the history of an object by touching it. Such a person can receive impressions from an object by holding it in his/her hands or, perhaps, touching it to the forehead. Such impressions can be perceived as images, sounds, smells, tastes – even emotions.

Psychometry is a form of scrying – a psychic way of “seeing” something that is not ordinarily seeable. Some people can scry using a crystal ball, black glass or even the surface of water. With psychometry, this extraordinary vision is available through touch.

For example, a person who has psychometric abilities – a psychometrist – can hold an antiqueglove and be able to tell something about the history of that glove, about the person who owned it, about the experiences that person had while in the possession of that glove. The psychic may be able to sense what the person was like, what they did and even how they died. Perhaps most important, the psychic can sense how the person felt – the emotions of the person at a particular time. Emotions especially, it seems, are most strongly “recorded” in the object.

The psychic may not be able to do this with all objects at all times and, as with all psychic abilities, accuracy can vary, but the ability is available to the psychic.

A Brief History

“Psychometry” as a term was coined by Joseph R. Buchanan in 1842 (from the Greek words psyche, meaning “soul,” and metron, meaning “measure.”) Buchanan, an American professor of physiology, was one of the first people to experiment with psychometry. Using his students as subjects, he placed various drugs in glass vials, and then asked the students to identify the drugs merely by holding the vials. Their success rate was more than chance, and he published the results in his book, Journal of Man. To explain the phenomenon, Buchanan theorized that all objects have “souls” that retain a memory.

Intrigued and inspired by Buchanan’s work, American professor of geology William F. Denton conducted experiments to see if psychometry would work with his geological specimens. In 1854, he enlisted the help of his sister, Ann Denton Cridge. The professor wrapped his specimens in cloth so Ann could not see even what type they were. She then placed the wrapped package to her forehead and was able to accurately describe the specimens through vivid mental images she was receiving.

From 1919 to 1922, Gustav Pagenstecher, a German doctor and psychical researcher, discovered psychometric abilities in one of his patients, Maria Reyes de Zierold. While holding an object, Maria could place herself in a trance and be able to state facts about the object’s past and present, describing sights, sounds, smells and other feelings about the object’s “experience” in the world. Pagenstecher’s theory was that a psychometrist could tune in to the experiential “vibrations” condensed in the object.
How Does It Work?

Of Buchanan’s “souls” and Pagenstecher’s “vibrations,” the vibration theory is the one getting the most serious attention from researchers. “Psychics say the information is conveyed to them,” writes Rosemary Ellen Guiley in Harper’s Encyclopedia of Mystical & Paranormal Experience, “through vibrations imbued into the objects by emotions and actions in the past.”

These vibrations are not just some New Age concept, they have a scientific basis as well.

In his book The Holographic Universe, Michael Talbot says that psychometric abilities “suggest that the past is not lost, but still exists in some form accessible to human perception.” With the scientific knowledge that all matter on a subatomic level exists essentially as vibrations, Talbot asserts that consciousness and reality exist in a kind of hologram that contains a record of the past, present and future; psychometrics may be able to tap into that record. All actions, Talbot says, “instead of fading into oblivion, [remain] recorded in the cosmic hologram and can always be accessed once again.”

Yet other psychical researchers think the information about an object’s past is recorded in its aura – the field of energy surrounding every object. According to an article at The Mystica: “The connection between psychometry and auras is based on the theory that the human mind radiates an aura in all directions, and around the entire body which impresses everything within its orbit. All objects, no matter how solid they appear, are porous containing small or even minute holes. These minute crevices in the object’s surface collect minute fragments of the mental aura of the person possessing the object. Since the brain generates the aura then something worn near the head would transmit better vibrations.”

“Psychometry – Psychic Gifts Explained” likens the ability to a tape recorder, since our bodies give off magnetic energy fields. “If an object has been passed on down the family, it will contain information about its previous owners. The psychic can then be thought of as a tape player, playing back the information stored on the object.”

Mario Varvoglis, Ph.D. at “PSI Explorer” believes that psychometry is a special form of clairvoyance. “The individual performing the psychometry,” he writes, “may gain psychic impressions directly from the person to whom the object belongs (through telepathy) or may clairvoyantly learn about past or present events in the life of the person. The object may simply serve as a kind of focusing device which keeps the mind from wandering off in irrelevant directions.”"

Psychics and Mediums – Good Press?

The majority of Psychics and Mediums will tell you that they are often pressured by the media and the expectations that the public have developed after seeing fictitious representations of Clairvoyants, Psychics and Psychic Readers.
It’s an awkward issue, not least because of TV programs like the recent series “Medium” which was based upon real life experiences. ‘Medium’ is an American drama television series about a woman (played by Patricia Arquette) who acts as a research Medium for the Phoenix, Arizona, District Attorney’s Office – the series is based on the real life of Allison DuBois, a much-criticised Medium.

Most Psychic Mediums and Clairvoyants suffer such criticism – it goes with the territory and we learn to accept it – we have to. We are often referred to as delusional individuals – and some times allegations are made regarding our state of mental health. It is quite usual to see the words “claims”, “professed abilities”, “alleges” in relation to Psychic Mediums – the above Wikipedia link is a case in point.

Whether we are deluded, mentally ill or “claiming self-professed ability” of a non-physical nature is irrelevant to most Mediums – we just get on with our work and let the public decide. Not many of us are prepared to read the constant assaults upon the work that we undertake (or upon us personally) – yet the Internet is full of derogatory comments, as is the national and International press.
Having undertaken considerable training in mental health and also bereavement counselling, it strikes me as strange that the comments of these unqualified individuals are taken as the ‘truth’ but, as most Mediums will tell you, it becomes second nature to shrug them off as the crackpots that they claim we are.

The world of religion is another culprit – the religions of the world vary in their condemnation of ‘other worldly’ ability but many religious groups and zealots are loud and clear about what they, and their religions, think and feel about Psychics, Mediums and Clairvoyants. The vast majority make outlandish claims about the use of Psychic Readings, Tarot Cards, Runes and Astrology but the holy books from which they preach and lecture very rarely mention anything major about these, or any other, non-physical ability or activity. Many will quote text from various books to state that these abilities are evil, unnatural and just plain wrong but if one takes the time to read the holy books of this world it is obvious that very little is actually said at all. Warnings are given – as they are by any Medium – but the script just doesn’t say what these modern-day religious types would have us believe. The holy books are all there if you wish to take a peek and see who has been leading who up the garden path!

There are many physicists who believe that we live in one, or a number of, “verses” and that we could simultaneously exist in a number of these “verses”, also collectively referred to as a “Multiverse”, thus rendering the word “Universe” more or less obsolete. The Astronomer Royal, Martin Rees, is a proponent of the Multiple Universe Theory (MUT) and has written books on the quantum physical facts (as he interprets them) and advises the British Royalty. There are now many thousands of physicists who subscribe to the MUT!

Some of the world’s ‘holy books’ forbid these ideas – yet there seems to be no public condemnation of quantum physics or the physicists that subscribe to these ‘way out’ theories.

If a physicist were to sit and undergo analysis on the above theories I have little doubt that they would be declared as psychotic – yet there are incredibly few who criticise these physicists. What difference is there in claiming direct communication with the spirits of the dead? Is it such an outlandish idea really? No. Can energy ever be destroyed (under the generally accepted Laws of physics)? No.

I don’t believe that physical “proof” of life after death is needed, nor do I believe it is necessary to try to “prove” it. I do believe that as Mediums and spirit communicators we are able to give good evidence of the fact that some part, or parts, of us survive physical death and as such it is incumbent upon us to demonstrate that ability as and when we are able to.

Do Psychics, Mediums & Clairvoyants get ‘good press’? I’ll let the reader decide.

“Instant Psychic Ability”…?

 
Psychic or Clairvoyant ability is not something to be treated lightly nor is it a ‘thing’ to be purchased online or in a shop. Psychic book stores and shops are a great place to find interesting works by authors who write for Pagans and it’s also true that many good books on Psychics and Mediums, Runes, Tarot Cards, Astrology, Crystals and the like can be found.
However, I would urge caution to anyone seeing an online advert to instantly gain Psychic ability and, believe it or not, Google.com has many adverts (mainly sponsored advertising it has to be said) promoting exactly that.
Let me assure anyone who is in any doubt regarding the abilities of Psychics and Mediums – or Psychic Mediums come to that. There is no overnight ‘fix’; no magickal potion to be swallowed; no Majickal incantation to be uttered and certainly no online spell that can instantly make a person Psychic or a Medium. Save your money, please?

It is offensive to me in the strongest possible terms that these fraudsters are allowed to offer such ‘potions’ and ‘spells’ online (and in psychic book shops etc) as some of us have taken decades to master our own abilities and to be able to fine-tune them so that we can not only use them ourselves but also put them to good use by helping others.

For the majority of my life I have worked in Spiritualist Churches in Britain (although I now live and work in Egypt) and even though I’m not technically a Spiritualist I have seen enough public demonstration Mediums to know that a great deal of time, patience and energy goes into refining the natural abilities to allow people like me to stand-up in front of thousands of people a year in an attempt to assist them in dealing with the loss of loved ones. No, as Demonstrating Mediums we don’t receive masses of cash – in fact, for most Spiritualist Church services and public demonstrations, the fee given very rarely does anything more than cover the costs of travel to the venue and a snack on the way home.
These true Psychic Mediums are out working as I type this – yet they’re not in it for the money and nor are they standing in front of eager people in an attempt to glorify themselves – they make only an effort to assist in communication between the spirits of the dead and the living relatives and friends.

It grieves me to see such blatant advertising of expensive ‘potions’, ‘spells’ and ‘lotions’ that can, allegedly, bring about Psychic ability!

It is true that some of us are able to assist with the ‘opening up’ of other individuals to allow them to communicate with ‘spirit’ and work Psychically but I would suggest that most Psychics Mediums would rather walk away than even contemplate opening an individual up – the consequences are not to be taken lightly. I do not remember the last time I ‘opened someone up’ – most people are wanting to gain some control over their natural ability and therefore require assistance in ‘closing down’ to some degree or another. Clairvoyance may have its rewards but let me assure you that they are not what you may imagine them to be. The responsibility of being Clairvoyant or a Psychic or Medium is considerable and I believe that the responsibility is a massive one given to people who are strong enough to bear the load – hence, natural Psychics, Clairvoyants and Mediums. It is also a fact that most Psychics and Mediums live as any other person – we all have to work to pay the bills and Clairvoyance is very rarely the answer to the financial strains of everyday life.

Please stay away from anyone or anything that professes to ‘open you up’ Psychically – it’s likely to be fake anyway but if it did work you would then need assistance in getting that ability under control – or is there another spell or potion for that issue?!
